Well we had a brilliant sermon yesterday. Mark Woodman did the sermon regarding the fact that we as Christians and Seventh Day Adventists are sitting and doing nothing about spreading the gospel or the Second Coming. We are nearing the end of time and we are all still sitting on our church benches playing church.
The Sunday laws have already started to be implemented in the European Union. As far as I know Croatia has banned any shopping on Sundays. This is the just the start of things to come. The pope (the main person behind the sunday law) has also been identified as the antichrist. The Sunday has been said to give people some rest from working on the so called Sabbath. The Sabbath is on the seventh day of the week, which is Saturday. Not sunday as many believe. The worst thing is....it is the catholic church that changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday.

Now who on earth gave them permission to change the day???? Obviously not Jesus Christ.
This makes the Seventh day Adventist Church of which I am a member the ONLY true protestant church. We believe that we have the true message and use the whole Bible as our handbook.
The second coming of the Lord is around the corner. We need to WAKE UP!!!!!! We cannot sit around and wait for the message to be carried out. That will never work. We need to be active in proclaiming the three angels message of Revelation 14.

Seventh Day Adventists are correct in their teaching that the Sabbath is the seventh day (Friday sunset to Saturday sunset) and that Christ will return soon. Some Sunday observers teach that the seventh day Sabbath was just an Old Testament ritual that has been abolished, but as I pointed out in my blog, Jesus said that the Sabbath was made for man (Mark 2:27), not just Israel, and the only record in the Bible of the event of God making the Sabbath which Jesus referred to is Genesis 2:1-3.
I also agree that there is limited time for the message of the church to go out to the world before the return of Christ, and there needs to be zeal to get this accomplished.
Years ago I read of a plan for a change in the calendar that some were proposing. I do not remember if the advocates of this plan were from Europe. But it involved a new calendar with two "world days", which would not be part of the weekly cycle. This would enable every day of the month to fall on the same day of the week every year, every quarter to have exactly the same number of weeks, etc. But to perform this balancing act, the weekly cycle would be disrupted twice a year. So when one of this "world days" comes, which would be a day of rest, the days would go like this: ...Friday, Saturday, "world day", Sunday, Monday, ... This would happen twice a year.
So instead of telling your employer you cannot work on Saturday only, after six months you would have to refuse to work on Friday, then six months later it would be Thursday, etc. If this were adopted, it would make things very difficult and would fit with the prophecy in Daniel 7:25.
